FRP采光板和很多材料相同强度随温度增加而下降，当温度上升到某一值时，强度急剧下降。另外，不像其他材料在低温时变脆，FRP的低温功能极好，在-70℃时强度有随温度下降而上升的趋向。因此FRP采光板在20℃-95℃的情况下FRP采光板不会老化、变黄、开裂或软化。
