采光板利用的上部开窗较小，不会严重的增加空调负荷；而且采光板在通过上部开窗将阳光引入室内的同时，对于大面积的下部开窗起到了外遮阳的作用。从模拟结果可看出使用采光板后空调负荷有明显的降低。当采用经过优化的采光板时节能效果将会更加明显。
